Abstract

This article considers the possibility of the description which shows the results of measurement of radon volume activity by means of the displaced three-parametrical distribution Vejbulla-Gnedenko, allowing to reveal the nature, the character of a source radon exhalation and to estimate the top possible value of radon on the investigated territory. The comparative analysis of application of the three-parametrical distribution Vejbulla-Gnedenko and the logarithmic normal distribution on the basis of the information properties of the static distributions with the use of a topographical classification is given.

Key words

identification of nonsymmetric distributions, entropy coefficient, antikur-tosis, volumetric (mass) activity of radon, topographical classification of symmetri-cal distributions, distribution Vejbulla-Gnedenko, logarithmic normal distribution.
